This policy explains which cookies and storage technologies fanproject.agency uses. A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits.
1. What we currently use
We use technical or strictly necessary technologies, which are always active, and analytics and advertising cookies, which are only enabled if you accept them in the cookie notice.
Necessary
- pll_language — first-party cookie (Polylang). Remembers your language choice (Spanish or English). Duration: 1 year.
- fp_attr — browser session storage (not a cookie). Stores the landing page, referrer and campaign parameters so they can be attached to your request if you submit the form. Deleted when you close the tab.
- wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* — first-party WordPress cookies created only when an administrator logs in. They do not affect visitors.
fp_consent — first-party cookie. Stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising cookies. Duration: 6 months.
These technologies are necessary for the website to work and do not require consent.
Analytics and advertising (only with your consent)
We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode: until you accept, these tools do not store analytics or advertising cookies. If you accept, the following may be set, among others:
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4. Measures visits and website usage in aggregate. Duration: up to 2 years.
- _gcl_au — Google Ads. Measures campaign effectiveness. Duration: 3 months.
- _fbp — Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Measures and optimizes ad campaigns. Duration: 3 months.
These are third-party cookies (Google and Meta), which may process data outside Peru under their own policies.
2. Changing your choice
You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
3. Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge). If you block the language cookie, the website will still work but may not remember your preference.
